Beachport Tavern Restaurant & Accommodation – Seaside Dining & Cozy Stays in Beachport SA

My wife and I had lunch here today for the first time. We have been to Beachport many times but never been to The Tavern. We had the garlic bread for starters and it was very good. A bit different to the usual garlic bread served in hotels but we both liked it very much. Our main courses were the 300 gram rump steak and the lemon pepper calamari. Both meals were very generous portions. The lemon pepper calamari was very tender and tasty and a good serving along with the chips and salad. The rump steak was cooked the way we ordered and it was juicy and tender. We were both very impressed with the meals and they were very good value for the money. The serving staff were very friendly and helpful and I spoke to the chef briefly as he was very busy and complimented him on the meals and the good value for money. We will definitely go back to try more things on the menu. The outlook over the sea was an added bonus. All in all a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant.

Delicious food and excellent ,friendly service in a lovely seaside setting . Very extensive menu ,so many tasty options . I had the chicken Tikka Masala and my husband had the burger .Both were perfect . Other diners also equally as impressed with this great restaurant. Highly recommend Thanks for a great lunch .

Amazing location. Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant is delicious and great value. Owner, Jerome was very attentive and helpful. Only draw back - stayed 5 nights, room was not serviced once. I Will be back.

Came here for dinner. Service was really good. We were offered the choice of moving into the lounge as there was a large group coming to sit near us - such great service, thank-you so much! Food didn't take long to be served. Really good food! The Greek salad was good (feta was a bit too salty though), but the Fisherman's platter was excellent! 4 oysters were good, 4 fresh prawns were delicious, 2 crumbed whiting was delicious and large portions, lemon pepper squid was not greasy - just perfect, chips were good. The warm chocolate pudding was also really good. Definitely recommend here for a meal!

Just there for lunch today. Customer service was good and the wife and I both had the lemon pepper squid which was very nice and quite large serves. This place is the one closest to the sea.

We arrived late in the evening in Beachport and all restaurants were already closed. Their kitchen as well. First, they were so kind to give us some dried noodles and cake, but once they heard that we had a microwave at our AirBnB, they prepared two to-go meals for us, which were absolutely delicious! Very kind staff, great food! Fantastic place!

Have stayed here a few times now...in the units at the front of the property, as we can have our dog stay too. ( Formerly Bonnies of Beachport) The rooms are always lovely and clean, have everything that you need, although we generally eat out or get takeaway. They have stunning views of the jetty and ocean. Would definitely recommend. We didnt eat in at the nearby Restaurant, but did get Indian takeaway which was fine. It did seem to be fairly well patronised.

The food came quickly and was the right size (not too big to be wasteful). The service was excellent with good country hospitality. It wasn't expensive. The view was lovely. You can't ask much more from a small town. I was quite delighted!
